Multi-sensory, physical, cognitive engagement
wall and space installation
SenseLink is a physical, cognitive and multi-sensory interactive wall that incorporates the use of smell, touch, sight and hearing. Nature’s elements; the ocean, sea creatures, mountains and gardens are incorporated into the themes to inspire a nostalgic experience. This creates a therapeutic and lively environment for the patients, for example, with the sound and smell of the ocean, the visuals of the waves moving, textures of various sea creatures and plants.
SENSE OF TOUCH, HEARING, SIGHT, SMELL
MOTOR, COGNITIVE & SENSORY SKILLS
Our interactive walls have two themes that are inspired by natural and nostalgic elements
Elements include items and activities that stimulate the sense of touch, hearing, sight, and smell when it comes to the interactive wall. This also provides a calming multi-sensory experience to relax and rehabilitate.
On the social aspect, while they interact with each other, users are encouraged to stretch, bend, lift and move objects, training the motor skills they need for daily living activities.
The incorporated activities take into account the use of their cognitive skills, inclusive of memory, coordination, creative, constructional and orientation skills. For example when it comes to creativity, users are encouraged to create and tell stories with the interactive tools. It also helps creates a livelier and fun environment whereby SenseLink can potentially benefit users through multi-sensory stimulation, motor and cognitive elements that encourages social interaction and nostalgia.
Our installations are aesthetic and focus greatly on beauty and visual appeal. When not in use, all of our installations become artistic pieces that are pleasing to the senses, namely sight. It is also meant to create a soothing, relaxing environment that draws people into the space.
